StrokeSyds mission is to:

• promote collaborations among academia, health care providers, innovation companies, and patient interest groups in the area of stroke
• promote the development and clinical implementation of treatments and measures that prevent stroke, protect against brain damage, promote functional recovery and rehabilitation, and enhance quality of life of stroke patients
• develop the stroke health care
• initiate and participate in public out-reach activities related to stroke in collaboration with patient interest groups
• act as opinion leader in matters related to stroke
